1. Service Description

Condence.ai ("the Service") is a SaaS spend intelligence platform that helps users understand their software subscription spending. The Service analyzes uploaded financial statements to detect recurring SaaS charges, categorize spending, and provide optimization suggestions.

2. User Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account.
• Only upload financial statements that you are authorized to access and share.
• Use the Service for legitimate business purposes related to understanding your own software spending.
• Maintain the security of your account credentials and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.
• Not use the Service to process data belonging to third parties without their authorization.

3. Informational Purpose — Not Financial Advice

The Service provides data analysis, categorization, and suggestions for informational purposes only. Condence.ai does not provide financial, accounting, tax, or investment advice. Specifically:

• Tool recommendations are based on your self-reported usage levels and publicly available information. They are directional suggestions, not definitive guidance.
• Estimated savings are approximate and based on public pricing. Actual costs vary by plan, seat count, usage volume, and negotiated rates.
• Category overlap flags are review candidates, not determinations of redundancy. Two tools in the same category may serve different purposes.
• The Service does not make purchasing decisions, cancel subscriptions, or negotiate contracts on your behalf.

4. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, the Service relies on automated parsing of financial documents and vendor recognition databases. We cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in transaction parsing, vendor identification, or subscription detection. CSV uploads generally produce the most reliable results. Users should verify detected subscriptions against their own records.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

The Service offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Condence.ai and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Decisions made based on the Service's recommendations or analysis.
• Inaccuracies in transaction parsing, vendor recognition, or cost calculations.
• Temporary unavailability of the Service.
• Loss of data, except as caused by our gross negligence.

7. Account Termination

You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the Service (including excessive automated requests or uploading malicious files).

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal remedies.
