What Data We Collect

When you use Condence.ai, we collect and store the following information:

• Account information: Your email address and optional company details provided during onboarding (company name, size, industry).
• Transaction data: Individual line items extracted from the bank or credit card statements you upload, including transaction dates, vendor descriptions, and amounts.
• Subscription data: Aggregated subscription records derived from your transaction data, including detected vendors, billing cycles, and costs.
• Usage assessments: Self-reported usage ratings you assign to your subscriptions (Heavy, Moderate, Light, Unused).

File Handling

Original uploaded files (CSV, XLSX, PDF) are processed server-side and permanently deleted immediately after processing. We only retain the extracted transaction line items and aggregated subscription data. We do not store, archive, or back up your original files. A deletion timestamp is logged for your records.

Third-Party AI Processing

Transaction data from PDF uploads may be processed by Anthropic's AI services (Claude) solely for the purpose of extracting structured transaction data from unstructured PDF text. This processing is transient — no data is stored or retained by the AI provider. CSV and XLSX files are parsed locally without any third-party AI processing.

Data Sharing

We never sell, rent, or share your financial data with third parties. Your transaction data, subscription data, and usage assessments are used solely to provide the Condence.ai service to you. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

Affiliate Disclosure

Some tool recommendations may include affiliate links. When present, these are always clearly marked. Affiliate relationships never influence which tools we recommend or how recommendations are ranked. We recommend alternatives based on your stated usage levels, not on commission potential.

Data Deletion

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@condence.ai. Upon receiving your request, we will permanently delete your account, all transaction records, subscription data, usage assessments, and any generated reports. Deletion is irreversible.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. No data is shared with ad networks.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted PostgreSQL) with row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/SSL. Payment information is handled entirely by Stripe — no credit card data ever touches our servers.
